Our new cell phone adapter comes pre-equipped with a mini quick release plate. This quick release plate allows the user to slide their phone forward or backwards for the perfect balance. No more counter weight!

Good but needs improvement

The problem with the phone holder is it interferes with the GravGrip assembly forcing you to offset your smartphone considerably to one side so it clears the housing completely through a range of motions and levels. The overall effect, the level feels unbalanced and awkward to use. Not to sure why the metal rod connecting the holder isn’t longer with a longer male thread end which seems to spin loose easily. These changes would make the product perfect.

Outstanding product!

Traveling and storage of the GravGrip along with the light and sturdy telescopic pole was great on my last vacation. Very compact and sturdy when you want to pack light to avoid baggage fees at the airports, it is a win win!

Crane shots done with Gravgrip!

Love this thing! My gopro stays straight for any long vertical lifts like standing on a bridge with a long selfie stick and coming up. Great for fake done rise shots and reveals through foreground bushes or walls etc. Almost a gimbal and a fraction of the cost!
